(Wo)Man Up and Register for Dawg Days
Yes, it’s the middle of the summer and approaching the end of the season, but that’s no excuse, people. Man up — or woman up, depending on your gender of course — and register for the First Annual Dawg Days of Summer Circuit Race being put on by Artemis and District Velocity Racing p/b The Bike Rack.
Why? A number of reasons:
- It’s a MABRA BAR event. It’s another chance to pick up some points towards the much-desired BAR jersey and year-long bragging rights.
- Beyond the usual big-cash payout for winners (Fine print: “big-cash” is a relative term), there are going to be a bunch of mid-race premes for a number of the fields. We’re talking cash, gear and gift certificates.
- Lots of local racers are tired out from a full four days of racing in Fitchburg, so now’s the time to put them in the hurt locker. I’m coming for you, Battley, in my first ever 1-2-3 race.
- You’ll need to get off your ass at least once during the Tour.
- You’ll get to see the results of me actually calling out Battley in the 1-2-3 race. I promise it will be hilarious.
- If you sign up for more than one race, it’s half-off the second registration.
Hope to see you all out at Bowie this Sunday for the race!
