District Velocity Racing presented by The Bike Rack is a cycling team and club based in Washington, D.C.

We actively -

Promote cycling in the Washington, D.C. Metro area by providing cyclists with an inclusive team environment in which to train and compete.
Support all team members (male, female and master) to perform competitively and achieve their goals.
Develop positive ties between cycling and the local community through involvement in local events.
Maintain the tradition of sportsmanship that is a hallmark of competitive cycling and personify cycling’s positive attributes on the road and in the community.

District Velocity racing is proud to have been born of and sponsored by The Bike Rack, a full-service bike shop in the Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The majority of our members are proud District residents, and we strive to promote cycling in the city, advance local businesses that work with the team and help establish Washington, D.C. as both a great place to live and a fantastic place to ride a bike.
